UK Data Service will be undergoing an overhaul from Thursday 23 August until Wednesday 29 August. Some parts of the current website, account area and data catalogue will be unavailable during this period. Secure Lab users will not be affected during the upgrades but it will not be possible to request new data during this period.

Planned changes will make it easier for users to re-register, new users to create an account and, it will be easier for collaborators on project teams to gain access and agree to conditions placed upon project data. The data catalogue search engine will also be upgraded, taking into account feedback from users.

Normal services are expected to resume on 30 August 2018.
