Near the end of October the University of Aberdeen will be taking part in International Open Access Week. Open Access can help to raise the visibility of research, encourage new collaborations and enable global participation in research. Open access frees research from paywalls and subscription fees and helps it reach millions of people across the globe. Open access brings research to students, Industry partners, charities, public health practitioners and secondary education institutions; it helps to share knowledge and develop the researchers of tomorrow.
Between the 23rd and the 29th of October, join colleagues across the globe to celebrate your research. Throughout Open Access Week we will aim to highlight some of the key issues, answer your questions, and bust some myths around open access.
