Once the fast approaching exams are over it will be time for many taught postgraduate students to focus on their dissertations and the library will be here to help, with bookable workshops on how best to gather and manage the literature you will need to complete your research.

These workshops will introduce you to:
- How to plan what you are going to search for.
- Where to find the many resources we have in paper and online.
- How to get the best out of these resources to ensure you find the materials you need.
- RefWorks, reference management software to help you manage the materials you find and then create a perfectly referenced dissertation.
These workshops will take place in the Sir Duncan Rice Library, once the exams are over. There are three workshops on offer, running over three days, beginning on May 25.
To reserve a place on these workshops please visit the coursebooking site. These workshops have been very popular in the past so be sure to book up soon to avoid disappointment.
In the meantime, please visit the information skills section of our website for further information on using our many resources to help you research and write your dissertation.
Good luck to all our students, undergraduate and postgraduate, with the upcoming exams. Remember to contact library staff if you need any help with locating materials for your revision.
