The British Science Festival will be hosted here at the University of Aberdeen  from 4th-9th September with an extensive and exciting programme of events, talks and other activities. The University Library is a key venue housing the Box Office and other facilities, and also a location for a number of events and activities taking place during the Festival. During this period, therefore, the University Library is likely to be very busy, and consequently somewhat noisier. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to readers but do remember that Silent Study Rooms are available for use on floors 1 and 3 to 6. The Festival is generating a huge degree of excitement and interest and we are delighted to be participating in this prominent event.
