I’m very happy today because I was able to register online to receive a NLS library card and have free access to over 40 of the Library’s subscribed electronic resources.
Next time I visit Edinburgh I’ll pop into the NLS, my membership card will be issued in a matter of minutes (because I’ve pre-registered), and I can use the Reading Rooms. Free access to the electronic resources is open to Scottish residents only.
