Tomorrow is the University’s annual Open Day for prospective students, and the library service would like to extend a warm welcome to all the potential students who will be visiting the campus to learn about all that we have to offer here at the University of Aberdeen.
The Sir Duncan Rice Library (TSDRL) will be hosting pre-booked tours between 9am and 3pm for many of the visitors, giving them the chance to not only see the wonderful spaces, facilities and services that the library provides to our students, but also the chance to get a gloriously sunny view of the Old Aberdeen campus from the top floor of the building. Weather permitting…
Any Open Day visitors who have been unable to pre-book onto a library tour are still very welcome to come into TSDRL and have a look around. There were over 7,000 visitors on campus last year for the Open Day, so we expect TSDRL to be rather busy tomorrow, along with the rest of campus.
There will also be an Open Day Parent’s Reception taking place this evening, the 25th, in the Events area on the ground floor of TSDRL, between 7pm and 10pm.
Here’s to sunny weather tomorrow and a great day for all of our visitors. We are ready for all your wonderful questions!
